About the speaker: Mahamahopādhyāya Dr Mani Dravid is one of the most respected Sanskrit scholars of this age, with erudite scholarship in Advaita Vedānta, Mīmāṃsā, Vyākaraṇa, and Nyāya thought. Dr Mani Dravid holds a Doctorate Degree in Indian philosophy from Banaras Hindu University. He learnt Vedānta and Mīmāṃsā from stalwarts like Pranthiangara Sri S Subramania Sastrigal and Brahmashri R Krishnamurthy Sastrigal. He is widely respected in the field of Sanskrit scholarship across the globe for his erudite scholarship, skills in presenting systematic discussions and his simplicity. Several titles have adorned him, including the Maharśi Bādarāyaṇa Vyāsa Sammāna by the President of India, Advaita Siddhi Ratnākara by Śṛangeri Śāradā pīṭha, Advaita Vāda Diggaja by Bhaṇḍārikeri Matha, Śāstranidhi by Śrī Avadhūta Datta Pīṭham, Mahāmahopādhyāya title by Sri Lal Bahadur Shastri University.
